I began creating as a young child when my first masterpiece was with tar, using myself and my fathers work shop as my canvas. My parents were not impressed. Thankfully, I moved on very quickly to other works. I watched my mother create beautiful oil paintings, knitted sweaters, embroidery and the list goes on. My father was a hard working man who could fix anything and his carpentry was perfection. Like my parents, I found that working with my hands was such a fulfilling part of my life. I began creating wire sculpted jewelry and found this art to be my passion.
I am inspired by the beauty of Mother Earth, the colors of the sky, sea and land that she produces. The semi-precious gemstones, fossils and various stones that I use are all unique in shape, size & color, making the final creation a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.
The art of wire sculpture dates back to the ancient Phoenecians, no solders or glues are used in this art. I use Argentium silver to sculpt the stones.
My signature is a simple Argentium silver Forget Me Not flower either incorporated into the design or hangs from the back, for Alzheimers Awareness in honor of my beautiful mother.
