The metals I work with are copper, bronze, brass and Argentium silver. I love the mix of patinaed base metals with the beautiful lustre of Argentium sterling silver. I chose Argentium sterling silver vs. traditional sterling silver for its firescale and tarnish resistant capabilities.
Argentium silver is the modern sterling silver which modifies the traditional alloy of 92.5% silver & 7.5% copper, replacing some of the copper with metalloid germanium.
It is a little more costly than sterling silver, but I find that the highly tarnish resistant alloy is by far worth it for myself and my customers.
